FSEA Issues Call for Entries for Annual Gold Leaf Awards

Are you producing award-winning projects? Do you want to gain industry recognition and exposure for your company’s high-quality work? Do you have what it takes to bring home the gold?

If so, the Foil & Specialty Effects Association invites you to enter your best pieces in the 22nd Annual FSEA Gold Leaf Awards Competition – an exciting assembly of color, dimension and eye-catching effects representing the most exquisite works throughout the graphic arts industry.

Entries are due Feb. 27, 2015, and will be judged on design, execution and level of difficulty in over 25 different categories with a gold, silver and bronze award presented in each category. A Best of Show award will be selected from among all of the Gold Award winners. All winners will be announced at the Gold Leaf Awards Banquet during the IADD•FSEA Odyssey in Schaumburg, IL, at the Schaumburg Convention Center, May 13-15, 2015.

Competition winners also will be highlighted in promotional campaigns, PostPress magazine and other trade publications, on the FSEA website and at industry events throughout 2015.

Key Programs and Players Announced for 2015 IADD·FSEA Odyssey

A strong showcase of programming, equipment and industry suppliers has been set for the 2015 IADD•FSEA Odyssey, May 13-15, 2015, at the Schaumburg Convention Center in Schaumburg, IL, USA. The 2015 Odyssey, with the theme "Innovation and Technology Converge," will feature a large selection of equipment demonstrating new technology trends; Techshop™ and classroom educational workshops; and a wide range of products and services specific to the fields of diecutting/diemaking, print finishing, folding carton, corrugated and specialty markets.

According to Odyssey Show Coordinator Sue Corcoran, "The Odyssey is the only tradeshow to feature a fully operational Techshop™, where attendees watch show-and-tell clinics enhanced by real-time demonstrations using the latest high-tech equipment." Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the Technology Hall, where more than 162 booths will showcase the latest technologies. Cold Foil HelpLinks Now Available

With the continued growth of cold foil for narrow-web and sheet-fed applications, FSEA has launched Cold Foil HelpLinks. This email-driven community has been developed specifically for cold foil technology to help with technical questions and challenges. The new Cold Foil HelpLinks is in addition to the current FSEA HelpLinks program already in place. The HelpLinks community is available to FSEA members only.
